PAUL DI'ANNO: Chernigov Press Conference, Performance Footage Available

May 21, 2010

Video footage of former IRON MAIDEN singer Paul Di'Anno's April 13, 2010 press conference in Chernigov, Ukraine can be viewed below. Also available is performance footage of the MAIDEN classic "Prowler" from the Chernigov concert which took place later that same night.

Di'Anno completed his first U.S. tour in over 15 years in January/February with support from Pittsburgh traditional metallers ICARUS WITCH (who also served as Di'Anno's backing band for the tour).

When asked by Vue Weekly in a 2009 interview about the possibility of releasing a new studio album in the not-too-distant future, Di'Anno replied, "We did five new tracks in Germany [in 2008] — it's very industrialized — but we got in a bit of an argument with the record company and we told them to piss off, basically. So I kept them songs and a friend of mine in Salisbury down in Southwest England, handed me 16 pieces of music so I'm going to go away when I have a bit of time and see what I can come up with for that."
